Common knowledge:
Tim's Biography

Author’s note: I currently consider this mostly to be a work of fiction only because I have not personally confirmed the information I based the biography upon. To that end, I will make revisions from time to time until I have what I feel is the absolute truth. Also, no animals (especially humans) were harmed during this production. Thank you.
Here's to you, Tim!

On April 19, 1946, Timothy James Curry was born to Reverend James and Patricia Curry in Grappenhall, Cheshire, England. Previously, a daughter had been born to the couple in Cairo, Egypt. The Reverend was a Methodist Naval Chaplain; due to his career, the family moved quite often.

By the tender age of six, Tim was already showing his vocal talents in the church choir as a boy soprano. Acting Shakespeare by the age of 10, Tim started exercising his dramatic talents early on as a Navy brat "because never staying anywhere long enough to make good friends, you soon learn how to please children very quickly".

When the family settled in around the port cities of Plymouth, and Portsmouth, Patricia worked with the Methodist Education Board. Tim’s father and he would sail together off Southern England, making his favorite memories.

Tim was 12 years old when his father died from pneumonia following two strokes. Left to raise their son and daughter alone, Patricia Curry moved her small family to a London suburb where Tim then attended boarding school. He participated in every activity he could, including acting in plays, to stave off the pain of losing his father.

During his boarding school years, it became clear that being an actor was his destiny. After completing his secondary education, he took a year off to work on boats in the Mediterranean Sea, traveling to Morocco, Belgium, and the south of France.

When he returned from his travels, Tim enrolled at Birmingham University. His interest in Birmingham came through its affiliation to the Shakespeare Institute in Stratford, and the fact “it had a really good drama society". He graduated from Birmingham with honors in both English and Drama.

He went out into the world in pursuit of his passion, finally landing a role in the London production of “Hair” as part of the “Tribe” or chorus. Even though his professed possession of an Equity card and theater experience was untrue, his acting ability had won over the powers-that-be when the truth was discovered. His acting future was assured.

Currently, Tim lives in Los Angeles, California with his dog, Mayzie, whom he acquired while doing voiceovers for “Daisy-Head Mayzie”. His avocations include gardening and cooking.

His most recent projects have included providing Nigel Thornberry of “The Wild Thornberrys” with his distinctive voice, speaking as Lucifer in “The Chosen”, and continuing his extensive relationship with the PC and console gaming industry as a voice talent for “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse”, a game by 3DO due for release in PC format in October 2003.
